King of Swing

King of Swing is a VR game about swinging.

In this game you can:
- swing from floating islands using grappling hooks
- fly around using the thrusters
- shoot lasers with the blaster
- try out different combinations of the above items
- test your skills with the time trial mode
- have a lovely time in the free play mode

Other things about this game:
- all of the levels in the game are randomly generated, and you can generate new levels instantly in-game
- the level generation is highly customisable using a settings file
- you can choose between stepped and smooth turning to suit your preference

DISCLAIMER: I do NOT recommend playing this game if you suffer from motion or VR sickness as it contains a lot of moving about.

The game was developed with an HTC Vive, but should be playable with other VR systems by making your own control layout within SteamVR (it uses the SteamVR 2.0 input system).

Some features I have planned for the future are:
- an setting to enable tunnelling (FoV restriction) to reduce motion sickness
- volume settings
- a toggleable third person camera (for the on-screen view, not the VR player)
- the thrusters leaving a cloud trail
- background music
- comments in the settings file

I won't be able to implement these for quite a while as I'm about to start my first year at university (I'm only recently 18 at the time of release).
